What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Pellet Therapy?
Bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy takes a personalized, natural approach to hormone replacement. Hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) may offer relief for some of the most common symptoms providers overlook. These symptoms may include stress, foggy thinking, sleep disturbances, weight gain, exhaustion, and much more.
Pellet therapy relieves these symptoms, allowing the patient's body to absorb the right level of hormones at the right time using a delivery method your body can process efficiently. Pellets are small capsules, roughly the size of a grain of rice, that contain bioidentical hormones. These hormones are the exact molecular structure that your body produces naturally.

These pellets are inserted under the skin, where the hormones enter the bloodstream as the pellets dissolve over several months. Studies have shown that patients may start seeing the effects of the optimization about four weeks after insertion.

These hormones bypass the liver, meaning they do not affect clotting factors, do not increase the risk of thrombosis, and avoid the fluctuations of hormone levels some patients may already experience. The pellets used are made from soy or the yam plant to create estradiol and/or testosterone molecules. Learn more information about BioTe hormone therapy here.

Evexipel Hormone Therapy Treatments
Brad Rodgers Family Practice is a proud partner of Evexias Health Solutions. Brad Rodgers Family Practice partners with Evexias to provide EvexiPEL, a form of Hormone Pellet Therapy.
Hormone pellet therapy is the preferred method of hormone replacement therapy among both patients and providers because of its convenience and efficacy. When compared to other delivery methods, natural hormone pellet therapy offers numerous benefits including:

-
Convenient: EvexiPEL hormone pellets are inserted under the top layer of skin during a short, routine visit. Replacement is required just two to four times per year. No more hassling with daily pills or messy creams and gels.
-
Better bioavailability: Hormone pellets are absorbed through cardiac output, mimicking your body’s natural pathway for delivery.
-
Natural release: EvexiPEL hormone pellets slowly dissolve releasing just the right amount of hormone to support your body’s needs. You achieve steady, optimal dosing throughout each treatment cycle compared to injections, pills, creams, or gels.
-
Fewer side effects: Each custom-compounded EvexiPEL pellet contains bioidentical hormones designed to be structurally identical to the hormones made naturally by your body. This means your body can easily adapt to the supplement, improving the speed of treatment and effectiveness without fear of side effects commonly associated with non-bioidentical hormone therapies.

I have insurance. How is paying a membership fee going to save me money? Many insurance plans have high deductibles and only pay for preventive services after you meet your deductible. With a BDR Care membership, all primary care services are covered. You don’t need to meet a deductible to have visits with your primary care provider for health coaching, weight management, chronic conditions, or acute issues such as respiratory infections and minor injuries. Since we focus on keeping you well and identifying issues well in advance, we can help to reduce the costs of unexpected illness. Please note that your BDR Care membership fee does not cover outside specialty care. We encourage you to check with your insurance carrier to ensure your specialist will be covered by your policy.
-
Is it a good idea to have medical insurance for serious illness or injury? You don’t need health insurance for the services you receive from BDR Care.
